| 1996 | BethShip Baltimore, MD. Performed dock trials as Chief Engineer aboard the MARAD vessel SS Cape Clear. Trials were completed two days ahead of schedule, saving weekend overtime and allowing BethShip to maintain drydock schedule. |

Carriers, Inc. Houston, Texas Initially employed as permanent first assistant engineer and then promoted to permanent chief engineer aboard the S.S. Corpus Christi. I have completed several design and management projects which include: retrofitting existing Bailey superheated steam temperature control system with a new electronic system of my own design. Wrote a computer based vessel repair requisition and policy for company wide distribution and implementation. Designed evaporator temperature control system and installed a remote reading flow meter. Currently working on a data base program for inventory and ordering. While on vacation, I have been flown overseas to perform repairs to vessels digital d.c. drives for our forty ton cargo cranes. |
